Inclusion Criteria:
* Moderate to severe idiopathic RLS
* symptoms occur predominantly in the evening
* symptoms interfere with sleep onset or maintenance
Exclusion Criteria:
* Any secondary RLS
* require treatment for daytime RLS symptoms
* symptomatic neuropathies
