* patients with hip fracture scheduled for surgery under spinal anesthesia.
Exclusion Criteria:
* hemorrhagic diathesis,
* peripheral neuropathy,
* allergy to local anesthetics,
* mental disorders,
* use of analgesics for 8 h before the performance of spinal block
