\_ All Type II odontoid fractures in adults .
Exclusion Criteria:
* Associated fracture body of C2 .
* Reverse type of odontoid fracture pattern.
* Pathological fractures or osteoporotic bone.
* Non-union.
* Short ,kyphotic neck and obese people.
