Inclusion Criteria:
* all the consecutive patients admitted for initial non-surgical management for aSBO
* during the period of inclusion
Exclusion Criteria:
* the cause of SBO was functional or other than adhesive
* patients requiring initial surgical management.
* absence of computed tomography performed at admission
