* ASA I-II patients scheduled for major abdominal cancer surgeries
Exclusion Criteria:
* patients with known allergy to the study drugs,
* significant cardiac, respiratory, renal or hepatic disease,
* drug or alcohol abuse,
* psychiatric illness that would interfere with perception and assessment of pain.
