* both-bone forearm fracture
* distal
* dislocated
* unstable after reposition
* age \< 16 years
Exclusion Criteria:
* fracture older than 1 week
* no informed consent
* refracture
* open fracture (Gustillo 2 and 3)
* both fractures of type torus
