Inclusion Criteria:
* completely resected pathological stage IB or II NSCLC
* adequate haematological, renal and liver function and condition
Exclusion Criteria:
* previous chemo or radiotherapy for NSCLC
* bronchoalveolar cell subtype
* second active primary malignancy or serious concomitant medical disease
* difficulties with adequate follow-up
