* Diagnosis of Rett syndrome
* Mutation in MeCP2 gene
* Typical EEG abnormalities (disorganized background, frontal central spikes, rhythmic theta)
Exclusion Criteria
* Features of Rett syndrome with absence of MeCP2 mutation
* Non-specific EEG changes
