\- Female and male patients with a specific phobia (fear of heights) according to DSM-IV criteria.
Exclusion Criteria:
* Severe acute or chronic somatic diseases
* Psychiatric disorder other than specific phobia
* Topic glucocorticoid therapy (for large skin parts)
* Inhaled glucocorticoids
* Psychotropic medication
* Pregnancy
