* age 5-18 years
* extremity fracture requiring reduction with sedation in emergency department
Exclusion Criteria:
* allergy to etomidate, midazolam, fentanyl, ketamine, lidocaine
* multi-system trauma
* history of psychosis
* pregnancy
* illicit drug use
* developmental delay
* non-english speaker
