Inclusion Criteria:
* acute phase of myocardial infarction (\>48 hours from the onset of chest pain)
* stable hemodynamic conditions
* completely occluded infarct related artery
Exclusion Criteria:
* heart failure signs in the acute phase
* contra indication for MRI or SPECT IMAGING
