* Acute ischemic stroke
* Between 24-168 hours after onset
* Moderate to severe dysphagia based on swallowing assessment
Exclusion Criteria:
* Preexisting swallowing impairment
* Intracerebral hemorrhage
* Pacemaker of other electrically sensitive device
