* American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I and II
* Scheduled surgery with general anaesthesia and oro-tracheal intubation
Exclusion Criteria:
* rapid sequence induction
* anticipated difficult mask ventilation
* anticipated difficult intubation
* refusal to participate to the study and to sign informed consent
