* have sleep complaints
* Score greater than 5 on Pittsburgh Global Sleep Quality Index
Exclusion Criteria:
* taking medications that affect sleep
* taking 100 milligrams or more of magnesium
* body mass index of 40 or higher
* abnormal breathing conditions
