* written informed consent
* indication for hallux valgus correction or arthrodesis of the first metatarsophalageal joint
Exclusion Criteria:
* allergic for jodine-povidine and/or chloride-hexidine
* active infection
* skin defect
* blood clotting or coagulation disorder
