* American Standards Association (ASA) physical status class II to III.
* Body mass index (BMI) 35-50 kg m-².
Exclusion Criteria:
* Cardiac conduction disorders.
* Cardiomyopathy.
* Chronic opioid use.
* Allergy to the studied medications.
