* patient undergoing vitrectomy surgery
* able to give informed consent
Exclusion Criteria:
* post-operative eyedrop regimens that include topical non steroidal anti-inflammatory medications
* subjects with altered post-operative eyedrop schedule for enhanced inflammation control
* documented allergy to atropine
