* patients undergoing endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography
Exclusion Criteria:
* children, pregnant or breastfeeding women
* patients with coagulation disorders
* inability to access the papilla of Vater due to technical difficulties (previous surgery, malignant obstruction)
