* Stable CAPD patients without previous history of peritonitis
Exclusion Criteria:
* HIV
* Other infections, tuberculosis or on immunosuppressive drugs,
* Autoimmune disease,
* Cancer
* Diagnosis of permanent ultrafiltration failure .
