* non-diabetic women with overweight/obesity
* constant body weight for the last three months before enrollment
* standard dietary and physical activity habits
Exclusion Criteria:
* pregnancy
* lactation
* chronic medical illness
* use of nutritional supplements
* alcohol consumption \>2 drinks per day
