Inclusion Criteria:
* diagnosis of colon neoplasms
* plans to undergo an elective surgery with curative aims
Exclusion Criteria:
* preoperative diagnosis of chronic renal failure (because of the risk of nephrotoxicity associated with intraperitoneal gentamicin absorption)
* allergy to gentamicin or clindamycin.
