* adult patients undergoing non-cardiac surgery with OLV
Exclusion Criteria:
* COPD
* Active respiratory infection
* Prior lung resection
* Prior esophageal/gastric surgery
* Esophageal varices
* Patients under effective anticoagulation at time of surgery
* Pacemaker/ICD
* Pregnancy
* Inability to give written informed consent
