* ASA I-III patients scheduled for lung resection surgery.
Exclusion Criteria:
* severe cardiovascular disease
* severe alteration of the preoperative pulmonary function, with FEV1 70-120% predicted and FEV1/FVC ≥ 70% predicted considered to be normal.
