* Spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage
Exclusion Criteria:
* Trauma-induced subarachnoid hemorrhage
* Ongoing chemotherapy
* Taking immunosuppressive medications for other medical illnesses
* Presence of a pacemaker
* Prolonged bradycardia at time of admission
