Inclusion Criteria:
* ≥18 years old
* with histologically proven cancer
* receive external radiotherapy or concurrent chemoradiotherapy
Exclusion Criteria:
* previous radiotherapy
* previous chemotherapy for another neoplasia
* pregnancy or lactation
* a known allergy or hypersensitivity to EGCG
