Eligibility Criteria:
Inclusion Criteria:
* Children 6 mo - 12 y with cirrhosis and sarcopenia defined as MAMA \<2 SD for age
Exclusion Criteria:
1. Non-cirrhotic Portal hypertension
2. Suspected/proven malignancy
3. Already on BCAA therapy in last 1 month
4. Tyrosinemia
5. Chronic kidney disease or non-resolving AKI
6. Potential liver transplant within 1 month.
