Inclusion Criteria:
* 18 years of age or older
* able to understand, provide written consent in and speak English
* cognitive ability to participate
* clinician-estimated life expectancy between 3 and 12 months
* approval of treating physician
Exclusion Criteria:
* any absolute contraindications to physical activity
* palliative performance scale level of 30% of less
* any patient within the last days to hour of life
