Inclusion Criteria:
* adult patients (18 years or older),
* with an HIV diagnosis known to the patient,
* currently on ART for at least one month, and
* scoring 3-5 (out of a range of 0-5) on pain or symptoms,
* with sufficient capacity to consent to trial entry.
