* Diagnosis of non-small cell lung cancer, including any of the following subtypes:
* Adenocarcinoma
* Squamous cell carcinoma
* Bronchoalveolar carcinoma
* Carcinoid
* Stage IIIB or IV or recurrent disease
* Must have received treatment with erlotinib hydrochloride on clinical trial ECOG-E3503
