Inclusion Criteria:
* Breast cancer with evidence of unresectable, locally recurrent or metastatic disease.
* Candidate for treatment with paclitaxel.
Exclusion Criteria:
* Prior chemotherapy in the advanced disease setting.
* HER2 positive disease unless previously treated with trastuzumab.
