* American Society of Anesthesiology (ASA) physical status I-II
* Scheduled for elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy
Exclusion Criteria:
* a history of allergy to local anesthetics
* known coagulation disorders
* infection near the puncture site
* Chronic opioid intake
* Patient with psychiatric disorders
* inability to communicate
