* \<6 years old at the time of the fracture
* treatment by skin zenith traction
* femoral shaft fracture, traumatic, unilateral
Exclusion Criteria:
* Multiple fracture
* pathological fracture
* history of lower limb fracture
* contraindication to zenith traction
