Description:
we will collect six to eight milliliters of fluid from surgical drains placed by the surgeon at the time of surgery to assist with wound healing. Samples will be collected at one and four to six days after surgery. One tube of blood will also be collected at both time points. The research will not include whole genome sequencing.
