Description: * Blood samples (10 ml per patient) which will be used to explore blood markers for fibrostenosis (either predictive or as biomarkers for fibrotic burden) using either serum proteomics analysis (extracellular matrix proteins using Nordic Biosciences or other proteomic platforms, e.g., Olink or similar) or serum exosome isolation for exo-miRNA profiling.
* Tissue specimens obtained from intestinal (large and/or small bowel) surgical resections and/or endoscopic biopsies.
