NCT ID: NCT02941627
Population Description: Fifty-one (51) participants with post-lingual severe-to-profound hearing loss took part in the study. One (1) subject could not be implanted because of the discovery during surgery of cholesteatoma (i.e., keratinized tissue growth in the middle ear or mastoid process) that was not detected before. The cochlear implantation was converted into choleastoma removal surgery.
