Population Description:
In all, for the intervention group, 260 participants were enrolled. Of the, 231 received allocated intervention (n=29 excluded due to general anesthesia).
For the control group, 257 participants were enrolled. Of them, 222 received standard perioperative care (n=35 excluded due to general anesthesia).
