For researchers submitting trial data to ClinicalTrials.gov, the Adverse Events module is one of four mandatory results sections. It requires reporting in three primary categories: All-Cause Mortality: A table tracking all deaths that occurred during the study, regardless of cause. Serious Adverse Events (SAEs): A tabular summary of events resulting in death, life-threatening conditions, hospitalization, or significant disability. Other Adverse Events: A table for non-serious events that exceed a specific frequency threshold, such as 5% within any study arm.
Adverse Events Module path is as follows:
Study -> Results Section -> Adverse Events Module -> Event Groups
Study -> Results Section -> Adverse Events Module -> Serious Events
Study -> Results Section -> Adverse Events Module -> Other Events

| FES Cycling | The intervention consists of electrical stimulation to five lower extremity muscle groups (quadricep, hamstring, anterior tibialis, gluteal, and gastrocnemius muscle groups) while cycling for 45 minutes, 3 times per week for 8 weeks. Outcome measures will be collected at baseline, 4 weeks, 8 weeks and 4 weeks after training is completed). RT 300: Lower Extremity Cycling: Individuals will be randomly assigned to either the FES cycling or cycling only group and will perform lower extremity cycling. Individuals will participate in an interval training cycling program 3 times per week for 8 weeks. | 0 | None | 0 | 7 | 0 | 7 | View |
| Cycling Only | The intervention consists of lower extremity cycling for 45 minutes, 3 times per week for 8 weeks. Electrical stimulation will not be applied to any muscles. Outcome measures will be collected at baseline, 4 weeks, 8 weeks and 4 weeks after training is completed. RT 300: Lower Extremity Cycling: Individuals will be randomly assigned to either the FES cycling or cycling only group and will perform lower extremity cycling.
