Adverse Events Module

Adverse Events Module

For researchers submitting trial data to ClinicalTrials.gov, the Adverse Events module is one of four mandatory results sections. It requires reporting in three primary categories: All-Cause Mortality: A table tracking all deaths that occurred during the study, regardless of cause. Serious Adverse Events (SAEs): A tabular summary of events resulting in death, life-threatening conditions, hospitalization, or significant disability. Other Adverse Events: A table for non-serious events that exceed a specific frequency threshold, such as 5% within any study arm.

Adverse Events Module path is as follows:

Study -> Results Section -> Adverse Events Module -> Event Groups

Study -> Results Section -> Adverse Events Module -> Serious Events

Study -> Results Section -> Adverse Events Module -> Other Events

FES Cycling The intervention consists of electrical stimulation to five lower extremity muscle groups (quadricep, hamstring, anterior tibialis, gluteal, and gastrocnemius muscle groups) while cycling for 45 minutes, 3 times per week for 8 weeks. Outcome measures will be collected at baseline, 4 weeks, 8 weeks and 4 weeks after training is completed). RT 300: Lower Extremity Cycling: Individuals will be randomly assigned to either the FES cycling or cycling only group and will perform lower extremity cycling. Individuals will participate in an interval training cycling program 3 times per week for 8 weeks. 0 None 0 7 0 7 View
Cycling Only The intervention consists of lower extremity cycling for 45 minutes, 3 times per week for 8 weeks. Electrical stimulation will not be applied to any muscles. Outcome measures will be collected at baseline, 4 weeks, 8 weeks and 4 weeks after training is completed. RT 300: Lower Extremity Cycling: Individuals will be randomly assigned to either the FES cycling or cycling only group and will perform lower extremity cycling.
