Adverse Events Module

Adverse Events Module

For researchers submitting trial data to ClinicalTrials.gov, the Adverse Events module is one of four mandatory results sections. It requires reporting in three primary categories: All-Cause Mortality: A table tracking all deaths that occurred during the study, regardless of cause. Serious Adverse Events (SAEs): A tabular summary of events resulting in death, life-threatening conditions, hospitalization, or significant disability. Other Adverse Events: A table for non-serious events that exceed a specific frequency threshold, such as 5% within any study arm.

Adverse Events Module path is as follows:

Study -> Results Section -> Adverse Events Module -> Event Groups

Study -> Results Section -> Adverse Events Module -> Serious Events

Study -> Results Section -> Adverse Events Module -> Other Events

Facial-Flex Subjects meeting inclusion and exclusion criteria who do not have significant obstructive sleep apnea on home sleep study 1 undergo 6 weeks of training with the facial flex (FF) exerciser. At the end of the six weeks of training another sleep study (Home sleep study 2)was performed. The facial flex (FF) exerciser manufactured by Facial Concepts, Inc is an FDA approved Class I medical device for treatment of facial muscle laxity. Facial muscles tend to weaken with age. The combination of deteriorating elastic tissue and facial muscle weakness causes the face to sag. Facial flex consists of two plastic tipped curved lower bars which slide across each other. An external dynamic resistance is provided by elastic bands. None None 0 17 0 18 View
