For researchers submitting trial data to ClinicalTrials.gov, the Adverse Events module is one of four mandatory results sections. It requires reporting in three primary categories: All-Cause Mortality: A table tracking all deaths that occurred during the study, regardless of cause. Serious Adverse Events (SAEs): A tabular summary of events resulting in death, life-threatening conditions, hospitalization, or significant disability. Other Adverse Events: A table for non-serious events that exceed a specific frequency threshold, such as 5% within any study arm.
Adverse Events Module path is as follows:
Study -> Results Section -> Adverse Events Module -> Event Groups
Study -> Results Section -> Adverse Events Module -> Serious Events
Study -> Results Section -> Adverse Events Module -> Other Events

| Control gr | EN : start EN at 20-30 ml/h per day up to maximal 150 ml/h per day; or day1: 500 ml, day2: 1000 ml, day3: 1500 ml of EN dependant on gastrointestinal tolerance (gastric residue volume more than 500ml). | SPN Group | experimental arm: Supplemental Parenteral Nutrition (SPN) is added to enteral nutrition (EN) to reach 100% of their predicted energy needs from ICU day 4. In the treated group, SPN is started if at day 4 energy input by EN is \< 60% of energy target in order to reach 100% of energy target by peripheral or central line. Nutritional products as currently used in our institution. SPN is composed of EN and PN, both techniques being currently used in our institution.
