Adverse Events Module

Adverse Events Module

For researchers submitting trial data to ClinicalTrials.gov, the Adverse Events module is one of four mandatory results sections. It requires reporting in three primary categories: All-Cause Mortality: A table tracking all deaths that occurred during the study, regardless of cause. Serious Adverse Events (SAEs): A tabular summary of events resulting in death, life-threatening conditions, hospitalization, or significant disability. Other Adverse Events: A table for non-serious events that exceed a specific frequency threshold, such as 5% within any study arm.

Adverse Events Module path is as follows:

Study -> Results Section -> Adverse Events Module -> Event Groups

Study -> Results Section -> Adverse Events Module -> Serious Events

Study -> Results Section -> Adverse Events Module -> Other Events

NCT ID: NCT01457950
Description: SAEs and non-serious AEs were reported for members of the Intent-to-Treat (ITT) Population, comprised of all participants randomized to treatment who received one dose of study medication during the Double-Blind Treatment Phase, and for members of ITT-OL Population in the Open-Label Phase.
Frequency Threshold: 5
Time Frame: Serious adverse events (SAEs) and non-serious adverse events (AEs) were collected from the start of the study medication to the end of the Open-Label Phase (up to Month 12).
Study: NCT01457950
Study Brief: A Study in Korean Postmenopausal Women With Osteoporosis to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of Denosumab
