Adverse Events Module

For researchers submitting trial data to ClinicalTrials.gov, the Adverse Events module is one of four mandatory results sections. It requires reporting in three primary categories: All-Cause Mortality: A table tracking all deaths that occurred during the study, regardless of cause. Serious Adverse Events (SAEs): A tabular summary of events resulting in death, life-threatening conditions, hospitalization, or significant disability. Other Adverse Events: A table for non-serious events that exceed a specific frequency threshold, such as 5% within any study arm.

AID Evaluation After completing a 1-2 week CGM run-in period, subjects will complete a 48-60 hour closed-loop (CL) session in a supervised outpatient environment with medical staff present. For subjects who wish to continue use of the system, they will be offered the option of continuing use of the system at home in an extension phase, for the rest of their pregnancy. Automated Insulin Delivery: Participants will use the Automated Insulin Delivery (AID) iAPS system for 48-60 hours in a medically supervised session.
