Adverse Events Module

Adverse Events Module

For researchers submitting trial data to ClinicalTrials.gov, the Adverse Events module is one of four mandatory results sections. It requires reporting in three primary categories: All-Cause Mortality: A table tracking all deaths that occurred during the study, regardless of cause. Serious Adverse Events (SAEs): A tabular summary of events resulting in death, life-threatening conditions, hospitalization, or significant disability. Other Adverse Events: A table for non-serious events that exceed a specific frequency threshold, such as 5% within any study arm.

Adverse Events Module path is as follows:

Study -> Results Section -> Adverse Events Module -> Event Groups

Study -> Results Section -> Adverse Events Module -> Serious Events

Study -> Results Section -> Adverse Events Module -> Other Events

NCT ID: NCT05063994
Description: The Cortef Run-in reporting group was assessed using the screening population. The Cortef and Chronocort reporting groups were assessed using the safety analysis set that included all participants who were randomized and received at least 1 dose of study drug in the treatment period.
Frequency Threshold: 5
Time Frame: Up to 30 days after last study dose (maximum treatment duration of approximately 53 weeks; median exposure = 255.0 days for Chronocort and 230.5 days for Cortef)
Study: NCT05063994
Study Brief: Comparison of Chronocort Versus Standard Hydrocortisone Replacement Therapy in Participants Aged 16 Years and Over With Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia
