Adverse Events Module

Adverse Events Module

For researchers submitting trial data to ClinicalTrials.gov, the Adverse Events module is one of four mandatory results sections. It requires reporting in three primary categories: All-Cause Mortality: A table tracking all deaths that occurred during the study, regardless of cause. Serious Adverse Events (SAEs): A tabular summary of events resulting in death, life-threatening conditions, hospitalization, or significant disability. Other Adverse Events: A table for non-serious events that exceed a specific frequency threshold, such as 5% within any study arm.

Adverse Events Module path is as follows:

Study -> Results Section -> Adverse Events Module -> Event Groups

Study -> Results Section -> Adverse Events Module -> Serious Events

Study -> Results Section -> Adverse Events Module -> Other Events

Blood Lactate Response in PD This arm involves performing 5 sets of 1-minute squats with 1 minute of rest between each, and a finger prick before, after, and 10 minutes after the exercise in a PD population. One set of the squats will be performed on a whole body vibration plate, and one on the ground. pro5 AIRdaptive Power Plate, Badhoevedorp, The Netherlands: Subjects will be exposed to vertical vibration with a frequency and peak-to-peak displacement of 30 Hz and 1 mm, respectively, which provides a peak-to-peak acceleration of about 4.16 G. Blood Lactate Responses in Healthy, Older Adults This arm involves performing 5 sets of 1-minute squats with 1 minute of rest between each, and a finger prick before, after, and 10 minutes after the exercise in healthy, older adults.
